Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([COMPANY NAME / OPERATOR], [STREET NO.], [POSTCODE CITY], Germany, email: [EMAIL ADDRESS]) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the period expires.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your notice. We use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction; you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
If you requested that the service (membership) begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you communicated your withdrawal.
Early expiry for digital content
The right of withdrawal expires for contracts for digital content (e.g. unlockable posts, images, videos, digital products, paid chat media) once we have begun performance after you
- expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period,
- acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and
- we provided you with a confirmation of the contract (§ 356(5) BGB).
